Many contributed to the development of Probo. The initial idea came from Ivan Hermans from the Anty Foundation. Researchers
dr. ing. Jelle Saldien and
dr. ir. Kristof Goris developed the first prototype under supervision of
prof. dr. ir. Dirk Lefeber and
dr. ir. Bram Vanderborght (formerly
dr. ir. Bjorn Verrelst ).
